Back in September 2014, Christopher Garnier sent an e-mail to Dr. John Collins with the subject, "My Thoughts and My Desires". The e-mail was sent on September 27, 2014, at 8:31 PM. See below:
The e-mail speaks for itself. The first paragraph, at the beginning of this two page e-mail, paints a picture of what is to come. The genesis for what is going on today?
In January of 2015, Christopher Garnier sent an e-mail to Kimberley Beatty that was a follow up e-mail to his complaint of having to pay for items he was seeking through a Public Records Request.
Another example of the e-mails sent by Christopher Garnier is one sent on May 25, 2015. Christopher Garnier adds a subject line that says, "Happy Memorial Day Dr. Collins".
Another example of the intimidation tactics and harassment from Christopher Garnier is this e-mail sent on October 7, 2015 at 8:11 PM, with the subject, "I Hope you gentlemen are having a relaxing night."
Most of the e-mails sent by Christopher Garnier are rambling repeats of his belief there is rampant district wide racism. What Christopher Garnier leaves out of all his rants, are the things he did to elicit the response he received. He fails to accept any responsibility for HIS actions and words, spoken and written.
I am attempting to figure out a better way of presenting the volumes of e-mails associated with Christopher Garnier. The extended rants make it difficult to present here. I'm sure there is a manner in which I can do so, but I have not figured it out yet. I will work on that and when I figure it out, post them here for people to make their own judgments.
Until then, let us focus our time and energy on "KIDS and EDUCATION". Let us all support our teachers, who do a wonderful job every day, under difficult conditions and without the respect and appreciation they all deserve. THANK YOU for all YOU do for our KIDS!!!!!!!

It is important to note, in the conclusion of the first email, Chris' words of admiration for Dr. Collins. The initial rhetoric was against others, not Collins, and Collins was often spoken of as his hero. When Collins stood up to protect staff and families from threats and intimidation, he was the new target.
ReplyDeleteThis family is adamant they have never threatened anyone, but reading these (and other published) emails, it is clear they are. The threats rose to a serious enough level that the district office installed a permanent security officer. The threats rose to a serious enough level that a judge (an Iranian female judge, no less) granted a three-year permanent restraining order preventing a man from attending his own child's school to protect the staff there. Now that he has returned (due to a staff change, not a change in the restraining order), the entire campus is fearful once again.
Why are we allowing these few individuals to terrorize a community? Why are we allowing them the platforms to try and diminish the reputation of a nationally-recognized school district, ultimately damaging property values much more than any CAB ever would.
The Garniers and the Wilsons are grasping at straws to try and make names for themselves. Congratulations, folks, you have. And it isn't pretty.
Chris often quotes famous men (never women...not at all surprising as he is clearly a misogynist) and military sayings to build up his case. I'd like to respond with a quote by Marie de France: "The fool shouts loudly, thinking to impress the world."
This idiot is not right in the head. He clearly has a troubled mind. I watched the video last night and after seeing it and reading the few emails you have posted, it is clear he is a product of his own words and actions. People need to be made aware of who this guy is and what he is all about. I have posted this on my facebook and I would urge others to do the same. The more people who see these pages the better. The re-call is a spiteful, mean spirited, game for this person and his father in law. Two pathetic individuals for sure.
ReplyDeleteIf the community of Poway and homes within the PUSD start losing value as a result of Chris Garnier, Kim Garnier and Keith Wilson, I propose the community come together and file a class action lawsuit. What the Garnier's and Mr. Wilson have done is equivalent to terrorism.
ReplyDeleteIf you're a cat owner, do not purchase litter from Costco as you're lining the pocket of Keith Wilson who also financially supports the Garnier's.
It's time to fight fire with fire. Kudos to the moderator of this blog who has posted these Emails at his own expense as Public Records Act Requests are not free.
Garnier's words and actions are threatening. His actions are intentional and deliberate. He has convinced so many people he is the victim it is painful. Good people are being sucked into his vortex of trouble. The people who support him are the same people who are angry over the CAB's and want a pound of flesh because of them. The sad part is good people have become so defensive, they are allowing the Garnier's and Wilson's to control the dialog.
ReplyDeleteThe district needs to make public ALL of the evidence that supported the Restraining Order and the reasons he is no longer an employee and publish all of the threatening e-mails (like these here) for all to see.
Do not allow him to use his color to intimidate. Stand up to him. He is a bully. Good people, acting together can over come his actions.
